Just a few random videos

Maggie decided yesterday that she's now a big girl and can walk everywhere, instead of her previous "walk for fun, crawl for speed" thinking. She spent most of her time yesterday after lunch walking all over the house, including going up and down the hallway over and over again.

We also spent some time in the evening hanging out with the chickens. Her favorites are the Rhode Island Red ("red bock bock!") and the Buff Orpington ("orange!"), and she loves to feed them scratch.

  1. So cute!!! I can't believe how big the chickens are. Maggie is such a smart girl. She talks so much. Archer still doesn't say any words, although he knows a bunch of words when we say them.

  2. At about 12 months, we started realizing just how much Maggie could understand (but she wasn't really saying much at that point). But sometime between 12 and 13 months, her vocabulary really started taking off. And by 14 months it was crazy...she just started repeating everything we said! It is amazing how quickly she is growing and developing now...I swear sometimes things happen overnight!
